Based on the Central Huijin's Articles of Association, the Central Huijin Board of Directors consists of five directors. The current board includes:

Chairman
Mr. Lou Jiwei is the Chairman of Central Huijin. He is concurrently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CIC. Immediately prior to this, he served as Deputy Secretary General (ministerial level) of the State Council. Previously he also served as Executive Vice Minister of Finance, Vice Governor of Guizhou Province, and Director General of the Macroeconomic Control Department of the State Commission for Restructuring the Economy.
Mr. Lou was born in 1950, and received a master's degree in economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University. He is a professor and an advisor to PhD students.

Vice Chairman
Mr. Li Jiange is the Vice Chairman of Central Huijin. He is concurrently the Chairman of China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC). Prior to joining Huijin and CICC, Mr. Li served as Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Deputy Director (vice minister level) of the Economics Restructuring Office of the State Council, and Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. He also served as Director General of the Policy and Regulations Department at the Economic and Trade Office of the State Council, as well as Deputy Director General of the State Planning Commission.
Mr. Li was born in 1949, and holds a master's degree in economics.

Director and President
Mr. Peng Chun is Director and President of Central Huijin. He is concurrently Executive Vice President of CIC . Immediately prior to joining CIC, he was Executive Director and Executive Vice President of Bank of Communications. Before that, he was Assistant to the President of Bank of Communications, after serving as branch president in Urumqi, Nanning and Guangzhou.
Mr. Peng was born in 1962, and holds a doctor’s degree in Economics.

Independent Director
Madam Wu Xiaoling is an Independent Director of Central Huijin. She is concurrently a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) and Vice Chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee of NPC. Previously, Madam Wu served as Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Governor of PBOC Shanghai Branch, Director General of the Research Bureau of PBOC, and Deputy Director General of Financial System Reform Department of PBOC. Madam Wu also served as Deputy Chief Editor (deputy director general level) of Financial News affiliated to PBOC.
Madam Wu was born in 1947, and holds a master's degree in economics.

Independent Director
Madam Jin Lianshu is an Independent Director of Central Huijin. She is concurrently Chair of the Accounting Society of China (ASC). Prior to joining ASC, Madam Jin served as Chief of the Discipline Inspection Team (vice ministerial level) of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection posted to the Ministry of Finance and Director General of the Department of Industry and Transportation under the Ministry of Finance.
Madam Jin was born in 1942, and holds a bachelor's degree.
